Labour Yields To Fg’s Pressure, May Call Off Strike Monday

The organised labour may call off Monday the strike action it embarked upon last Thursday, THISDAY learnt last night. A top government official who did not want to be named said this followed talks between Federal Government officials and labour leaders at the weekend. He disclosed that organised labour might announce the suspension of the strike on Monday ahead of the tripartite committee meeting scheduled to hold on October 4.

It was gathered that labour leaders, which insisted on guarantees that Thursday’s meeting will be used to strike a deal on the new minimum wage, were prevailed upon to soft-pedal to allow the committee to conclude action on the matter.

The decision to call off the strike might not be unconnected with the intervention of the Presidency on Thursday through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who tried to persuade labour leaders to end the strike.

At the meeting of the chief of staff with the leadership of the organised labour on Thursday at the State House, Abuja, the Presidency pleaded with labour to end the strike, which has affected economic activities in different parts of the country.

After the meeting, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba, told journalists that the meeting was fruitful. Wabba promised that the meeting’s outcome would be tabled before relevant organs of the organised labour to determine the next line of action.

According to him, the federal government, through the chief of staff, had made a promise to the group that their agitations would be addressed. However, Wabba failed to disclose the nature of the promise made by Kyari.

“The Chief of Staff tried to give us details of government position which we will have to go and convey to our members and then we can revert back to him,” Wabba had said.

But on Friday, Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in a statement, said the federal government was working assiduously to ensure the strike was called off.

“The Presidency wishes to assure that the federal government is taking every step necessary to get the unions to call off the strike,” Shehu said.

He said the organised labour had accepted the federal government’s demand to reconvene the tripartite committee meeting on the proposed new national minimum wage.

According to him, the meeting between the leadership of labour and representatives of various employers of labour, including the federal and state governments, has been rescheduled to reconvene on October 4.

He also explained the tripartite nature of the meeting, saying it is so called because it is made up of representatives of the public sector, that is, federal and state governments, as well as the private sector, which he said comprised the largest private employer group, the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA).

Shehu listed other members of the body to include the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), and Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMES).

Various labour unions, particularly in the public sector, had on Thursday mobilised their members to embark on a warning strike action following the breakdown in negotiations on a new national minimum wage between the unions and the federal government. The organised labour had demanded an upward review of the current N18, 000 monthly minimum wage to N65, 500 across board.

But THISDAY learnt that at the meeting of the Tripartite Committee on the new National Minimum Wage, chaired by former Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ama Pepple, the organised private sector had proposed N25, 000 as its next minimum wage while other unions in the public sector insisted that the least they could accept from the federal government would be N43, 000.

While the private sector and the labour unions have come up with proposals on the next minimum wage, the federa

Too Strange! Rings, Old Pennies, Watches, Other Items Found Inside A Goat's Intestine In Cross River (Photo)

The items found inside a goat's intestine
Goats are known to feed on grasses and at times foods eaten by human beings but a goat  in Ajere, Ekori in Cross River, has decided to feed on something else other than the natural meals meant for it.
The goat was alleged to have eaten up metallic objects including wedding rings, old pennies (money spent in the old days), wristwatches and other times.
Many never noticed the odd way of the feeding of this goat until it was killed and these things were found in its intestines.
Many people have said the goat is not an ordinary goat. Some even said the goat should not be eaten by anybody as it is supernatural as they believe the goat has put many families in agony with many marriages broken.

Ronaldo given two-year jail sentence

According to Spanish publication Marca, Ronaldo has been found guilty of committing four years of tax fraud which reached a total of €14,768,897.
While the representatives of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner reiterated his innocence of the allegations, they have now accepted the hefty fine and the two-year prison sentence.
The captain of the Portugal national team officially admitted the four charges of fraud and agreed to the abovementioned settlement, after initially seeing a £12.9m (R220m) offer rejected by the Spanish authorities last year.
However, Ronaldo won't be facing any time behind bars as Spanish tax law allows first-time offenders with no previous criminal record to have a suspended sentence, bearing the misdemeanour is not repeated.
Reports in Spain have been rife that the case was a huge driving factor behind his recent exit from Real Madrid.

Osun rerun: You are an uninformed political novice – APC fires Davido

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in the United Kingdom has slammed Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, also known as Davido for raising the alarm over an alleged plans by the party to rig today’s Osun State governorship rerun election.
Davido yesterday had claimed via tweet that the: “APC already planning to rig tomorrow’s (today) rerun! Enough is Enough man! They’re ready to do ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING TO STAY IN POWER AND SUFFER THE OSUN PEOPLE FOR ANOTHER 4 YEARS! PLEASE SHARE! @inecnigeria @USEmbassyAbuja @OfficialPDPNig”
The musician, who has been a strong member of the campaign team of Ademola Adeleke, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the governorship election, also shared a sheet, which listed the total number of registered voters in the polling units where the rerun will take place today, saying there was an uncovered plot by APC to rig the return with 812 votes
But in a counter-tweet, the APC UK described Davido as an uninformed political novice whose ‘pay grade’ was lower than the issues at stake; hence, should be ignored by the public.
Retweeting Davido’s post, the APC UK wrote on its verified Twitter handle: “Fellow Nigerians.
“Please IGNORE the #FakeNews below from the political novice. He’s uninformed and too inexperienced to dabble into such issues. The issue at hand is way above and beyond his ‘pay grade’.
“Thank you. @inecnigeria @OfficialAPCNg @apcyouthomoodua @PoliceNG”

Court orders APC to conduct fresh election within 30 days

The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday ordered All Progressives Congress (APC) to conduct fresh elections for the office of National Organising Secretary (NOS) within 30 days.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba gave the order in a judgment on a suit filed by Sen. Osita Izunaso, the plaintiff and a contestant for the office of NOS in the recent APC elective convention.
Izunaso had asked the court to determine whether the election into the office of National Organising Secretary of APC was marred by violence leading to the disenfranchisement of delegates from some states.
He further wanted the court to ascertain whether as a result of the disenfranchisement of some delegates, APC was right in declaring Mr Emma Ibediro winner of the election since it was inconclusive.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APC and Ibediro were named as defendants in the matter.
Izunaso told the court that some thugs loyal to Ibediro, numbering up to 100, disrupted the election into the office.
He said that they broke the ballot box making it impossible for votes of delegates from Jigawa, Adamawa, Anambra, Abia and Imo to be counted thereby rendering the election inconclusive.
He claimed that if the votes of those delegates were counted, they would have bridged the 290 vote margin which Ibediro defeated him with.
According to Izunaso, APC erred by going ahead to announce Ibediro as winner of the election in spite of the violence, thuggery and irregularities recorded.
The court agreed that exhibits before it proved that the election was marred by violence and thuggery, irregularities and non-compliance with the provisions of the constitution.
It further agreed that the election did not follow the Electoral Act and the guidelines made by the party for the convention.
The court further noted that the defendants had not presented an effective defence to the claims made by the plaintiff, and as such, it was bound by the evidence before it.
On the allegations that the thugs acted on the authority of Ibediro, Dimgba said it was not clear on whose authority the thugs acted but that what was clear was that their actions disrupted the election.
The court also said that INEC failed in its duty as an election monitor, adding that its dereliction of duty was evident in its monitoring report.
“In the report, INEC said that the elections were conducted in line with guidelines of the 2018 APC elective convention and so it failed in its monitoring function with respect to election into the office of the NOS”.
He, therefore, ordered that APC should within 30 days, pursuant to the plaintiffs' alternative reliefs, conduct a fresh election for the five states that were disenfranchised.
He also ordered INEC to monitor the repeat election as the body empowered to monitor the smooth conduct of elections in the country.
According to him, the duty of officers of the commission as election monitors is not to entertain themselves but to ensure that the elections comply with provisions of the law.
Izunaso had asked the court to declare him winner of the post of NOS but the court was of the view that while his complaints were well founded, it was better to order fresh elections in the affected states. (NAN)

Arsenal vs Watford Preview | Latest Team News | Expected Line-Up | Predicted Score

Arsenal will be hoping to make it five consecutive Premier League victories in a row when we take on Watford at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

We secured our fourth league victory – and sixth in all competitions – with a 2-0 win over Everton last weekend to move up to sixth in the table and we could find ourselves in the top four with a win today if other results go our way.

Unai Emery seems to be getting his ideas across to the players after a slow start and we booked our place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win over Brentford in midweek so the players should be in confident mood heading in to this game.

However, we’ll face a dangerous Watford side who’ve began the season in excellent form as they currently sit fourth in the table having taken 13 points from their six games so far, so this won’t be an easy task.

The Hornets will also be looking to bounce back after their penalty shoot-out defeat to Tottenham in midweek following a 2-2 draw while they’ve only taken one point from their last two league games so Javi Garcia will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

Team news
Arsenal have been handed a boost as Sokratis Papastathopoulos will return after recovering from a dead leg that forced him off against Everton but Emile Smith Rowe is a doubt after suffering a hip problem in midweek.

Laurent Koscielny is working his way back from Achilles surgery but isn’t due back until November so he remains on the sidelines along with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Dinos Mavropanos.

Emery is expected to recall a number of players with the likes of Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette coming in after being rested in midweek.

Watford have been success with their appeal over the red card shown to Christian Kabasele against Tottenham on Wednesday night so the defender is available for selection today.

Troy Deeney is also available after recovering from a minor knock, however, Daryl Janmaat has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.

Expected line-ups

Predicted Score
Arsenal 2-1 Watford: We’ve won eight of our last 10 league games against Watford and the Hornets have lost 15 of their last 16 away games to the ‘big 6’ so the stats point to a home win. I do think Watford will give us a tough match this afternoon but our key players will be well rested and we should have enough to edge this game to secure a vital three points.

Osun rerun: What Ambode said about Oyetola’s victory

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, on Friday congratulated the Governor-Elect of Osun State, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, for winning the keenly contested governorship election in the state.
Ambode, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Habib Aruna, said it was a well-deserved victory.
He said the people of Osun had made a choice to vote for continuity and experience, which Oyetola represents.
Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was declared as winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the end of Thursday’s supplementary election in six wards.
He polled a total of 255,505 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Ademola Adeleke, who polled 255,023 votes.
Ambode congratulated the APC for yet another victory, saying it was a confirmation that the people still had confidence in the programmes and policies of the party.
He also commended the people of Osun for comporting themselves during the exercise.
Ambode said that despite the inconclusive election on Sept. 22, voters defied the heavy downpour to come out en masse to exercise their franchise during the supplementary election.
“The election has been deservedly won. The good people of Osun have chosen quality continuity over uncertainty.
“I have no doubt in my mind that the Governor-Elect will bring his wealth of experience to bear and continue with the good works of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, call for unity and take Osun to greater heights,” Ambode said.
He also urged those aggrieved with the result to channel their grievances to the appropriate quarters, rather than resort to self help.

Buhari "If I win the next election and I survive the next four years, I will do better

President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that he'll consolidate on the achievements of his first term in office and do better as the country's leader if he wins re-election in the 2019 presidential election and survives the next four years.

The 75-year-old made this promise while addressing Nigerians based in the United States and Canada, as part of his trip to New York for the 73rd United Nations General Assembly.
While commending his administration for fulfilling campaign promises to boost the economy, fight insecurity and champion a campaign against corruption, the president also noted that there's more to be done.
"If I win the next election and I survive the next four years, I will do better," he said.
The president made this remark while talking about why Nigerians perceive him to be too slow in dealing with issues. According to him, he's committed to shedding his military skin to allow for democratic processes to take due course.
Buhari preaches world peace and security

When he addressed world leaders on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, President Buhari preached for world peace, highlighting major pressure points around the world where peace should be negotiated. He called on the international community to strengthen its resolve to combat ethnic and religious cleansing everywhere in the world.
President Buhari also condemned the illicit flow of funds across national boundaries, noting that it has huge negative impact on the stability, peace, and economic prospects of millions in developing countries.
"Corruption significantly deprives national Governments of resources to provide meaningful livelihoods to their populations who are predominantly youths, thus giving rise to more irregular migration," he said.
He urged all countries of the world to work together to achieve enduring peace and security.

Jefferson Airplane singer, co-founder Marty Balin dies

Marty Balin, whose tenor voice provided hits for the '60s psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane, has died, his publicist and family said in a statement. Balin was 76.

The statement did not mention a cause of death for the co-founder of the band. He also starred with its successor, Jefferson Starship. His wife, Susan Joy Balin, was by his side when he died Thursday.

The family said Friday: "Marty's fans describe him as having had a substantial impact for the better of the world: 'One of the greatest voices of all time, a writer of songs that will never fade, and founder of the quintessential San Francisco band of the sixties.' His music is known for being the soundtrack to all of life's monumental moments."

Balin's songwriting credits for the Airplane included "It's No Secret," "Today," "Comin' Back To Me," "Plastic Fantastic Lover," "Share a Little Joke," and "Volunteers" -- the latter sung at Woodstock.

Another co-founder, Paul Kantner, died in January 2016, the same month the Recording Academy named Jefferson Airplane one of its annual Lifetime Achievement Award recipients at the Grammys.

Born Martyn Jerel Buchwald in Cincinnati, Balin was raised in the Bay Area.

Balin and the Jefferson Airplane were pioneers of psychedelic rock -- their sound fused fuzzy, distorted, reverb-filled tones with influences from folk, rock and the blues.

The Airplane helped define the San Francisco music scene in the 1960s, debuting at the Matrix nightclub in 1965, about a year before its first album, "Jefferson Airplane Takes Off," was released.

"We didn't even know what we were doing when we started doing it," Kantner said in a 1970 interview with Rolling Stone. "Looking back, all we were saying was, 'Look, we're having a good time.' And nothing else."

Grace Slick, whose powerful vocals added another unique element to the band's sound, joined the group in 1966, bringing two songs with her from her previous band, the Great Society.

Those songs, "Somebody to Love" and "White Rabbit," became Top 10 hits the following year on "Surrealistic Pillow," one of the defining rock albums of the late '60s.

Multivocal harmonies were a staple of the Airplane, with Balin and Slick soaring over one another and Kantner weaving in. In a 2011 interview, Kantner said this interplay is "maybe the best thing I do in the bands that I've been in."

The band performed at three of the legendary music festivals of the '60s, including the Monterey Pop Festival, Woodstock and the ill-fated Altamont.

Among the artists that opened for the group were the Grateful Dead, Santana, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Who, Janis Joplin and Big Brother and the Holding Company, and Steve Miller.

The Airplane had broken up by 1973, after which Kantner, Slick and Balin formed a new band, Jefferson Starship. That band had a string of soft-rock hits in the 1970s, mostly sung by Balin, including "Miracles" and "Count on Me."

In 1996 Jefferson Airplane was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Gladys Knight and the Pips, Pink Floyd, the Velvet Underground and David Bowie.

Balin is survived by his wife, two daughters and two stepdaughters.

Major Earthquake Likely In Abuja, Kaduna, Ogun, Oyo, Bayelsa – NASRDA

The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has identified communities in four states and Abuja as locations where major earthquake may likely occur in the country.

The Director General of NASRDA, Prof. Seidu Mohammed, disclosed this on the sideline of the second Engr. Brig. Gen. M.O Agu (rtd) Annual Distinguished Lecture in Abuja on Thursday.

Prof. Mohammed, who was also the chairman of presidential committee on the Abuja tremor, said Mpape in Abuja, Kwoi in Kaduna, Ijebu-Ode in Ogun, Shaki in Oyo and Igbogene in Bayelsa may likely be the epicentres of major earthquake if precautions were not taken.

The erstwhile inactive faults system in the country are gradually becoming active, he said, ‘’which now make earthquake likely’’ in and around the country.

A number of incidences in these locations, according to him, is also a pointer to the fact that a big disaster may occur there, calling on the Federal Government to do something fast to avert it.

He said analysis of a 100 year-old data done by the members of the presidential committee on Abuja tremor showed that Mpape in Abuja is a hotspot which is highly susceptible to earth tremor and other earth shakeups.

“What it means is that we need a thorough study across the country to identify such hotspots so that we can constantly monitor them from satellite system and from data from outer space’’, he said.

He said the high volume of water being taken out of over 110, 000 boreholes dug in Abuja is further making the situation in the capital city worse.

‘’More than 330 metric tonnes of water being taken out every day in Abuja is causing a vacuum; is straining the earth’’, he said.

He therefore urged the FG to take a look at indiscriminate drilling of boreholes, calling on thorough regulation on earth drilling.

He also said engineers should now take cognizance of likely earth tremor when designing and constructing buildings.

Last week, the Presidential Committee on Abuja Tremor said Nigeria was now prone to seismic hazards, which make earthquake occurrence a potential disaster to the country.

The committee disclosed that when it submitted the report of its findings to the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu.

‘’Nigeria is now prone to seismic hazards following recent earthquake occurrences in Kwoi, Kaduna state, Saki, Oyo State and Igbogene in Bayelsa State all in 2016. The latest occurred in September 7, 2018 in Mpape, Abuja’’it said.

It said though ‘’these earthquakes may have been of low-magnitude, it is now certain that earthquake occurrence has become a potential hazards to the nation’’.

The committee alluded to the report conducted by Julius Berger on the geological, hydrological and geotechnical investigation for Abuja which identified Mpape as a Shear zone that is weak with several fractures and faults system.

It added that water extraction and recharge imbalance from aquifer is causing hydrological instability along the fractures.

The existence of 110,000 boreholes within Abuja metropolis with about 330,000 metric tonnes of water drilled daily is not suitable, it added.

In view of the challenges that hinder efficient forecasting, detection and monitoring of earthquakes in Nigeria, the Committee recommended the procurement and installation of more seismometers and GPS sensors/equipment for the enlargement and networking of the Nigeria National Network of Seismographic Stations.

The committee further recommended detailed Seismotectonic study using State-of-the-art equipment in the area and the entire country.

How I Earned KSh 12,450,000 to Buy a Car of My Dreams in Just Four Months

Do you have enough money? Do you have everything you've been dreaming of? Are you happy with how your life is going? If the answer is 'Yes', then just don't waste your time and close this page.
Those who answered 'No', go on reading. I'll tell you how to quit your annoying full time job and start earning KSh 40,000 or KSh 60,000 a day in just 2 days, from the comfort of your home.
I succeeded in it, and if you want, you'll be successful, too! It won't hurt me if I share this secret with you, while it will help some of you to change your life for good and finally become financially free.
First, a couple of words about myself. My name is Fatuma Tando. I'm 26, I live in Kenya, and I'm just an ordinary girl from a family, which cannot by any means be called 'well-off'. I was born to middle-aged parents. My Mum was a nurse at a clinic, while my Dad was a dump truck driver.
When I was little, all I remember was that my parents made every effort to buy the cheapest food and clothes possible. If they were lucky enough, they would save up a bit for vacation. We even could tour Europe once in 3 or 4 years.
Once I graduated from secondary school, I didn't even think about going to university, as I needed to raise money for my parents (already retired) and myself.
So I found a job instead, worked as a sales assistant, with a monthly salary around KSh 45000. It was 2008, and this was quite a good starting salary for Kenya.
I made enough money for living, but I had a dream, which was to buy a brand new Mercedes Benz. I knew it was extemely expensive and I'd have to save up for years. However, this was fine with me. After all, it was a dream, and you just can't make your dream come true in a day or two. Well, this is what I thought at the time...
I was really depressed at my financial situation then, prices were starting to increase due to inflation and living in Kenya became more difficult. People were upset but I knew I had to carry on working...
However, 3 months more passed, and the children wear shop I worked at turned bankrupt, so here I was, with no job or income sources at all, having to live on my parents' retirement benefits.
These were actually joyless times. I was looking desperately for any possible job opportunity on the Internet, but after nearly two months, there were no results at all.
Another two weeks passed, and I was about to abandon all hope, when suddenly I came across a web page. This was a story about a guy who had earned KSh 900,000 on the net, in front of his computer, without even leaving the house he lived in!
He said he had traded binary options via Olymp Trade.
I felt dizzy. Could it be the opportunity I'd been looking for, the one that comes up once in a lifetime?
At first, I hardly understood anything, but I went on reasearching more info, websites, forums, blogs, and other sources on this topic, and, eventually, I became quite knowledgeable in it. I felt so happy that I even remember this now. It was so exciting to think I became an expert and could now start earning cash online...
Now, let's put my story aside for a bit, as I also want you to know what I'm talking about. I'm going to tell you what are binary options, in a nutshell, so that you don't have to research dozens of websites, just like I did. I'll just save you a lot of time and effort.
Binary options are a revolutionary way of earning in the financial markets, which is very straightforward, quick, and extremely lucrative. You probably know what financial markets are venues where currencies, such as the dollar, the euro, or the pound, are are traded 24/7, i.e. with no breaks or days off whatsoever.
What you need to do is just open a free account on a binary options website (a broker website), then make a deposit, select an investment amount and predict where the price (for example, the US dollar exchange rate) will go in a few minutes or hours.
There are only two options available: High or Low. The trade may last for any time from 1 minute to 3 hours (the expiry time), and you may select any time frame in between. If your prediction is correct, your investment amount is nearly doubled; if it is wrong, well, you just lose your investment amount.
So, this will actually be your job if you follow my instructions. This is called 'trading', and a person who works in such a way is called a 'trader'. As a trader, you can work any time wherever you are, all you need is a computer with stable internet connection. As you see, it's pretty straghtforward, even a 10-year-old would understand how it works!
When I finally became fully knowledgeable about the process, I got so excited that I knew I needed to try it out right away.
I signed up for a free account at Olymp Trade, the same broker that the guy wrote his story about. Later, I learnt this was indeed one of the best binary options brokers on the net.
Once I opened my account, I got KSh 1000,000 in demo credits, very handy for testing and practising. This is also absolutely free for all.
So I started trading with these virtual credits, and just in a single hour I made a 1,100,000 profit! Of course, these were just demo credits, while I was hunting for real cash. Well, you can't do that without depositing, and with Olymp Trade, this is not an issue at all, as you've got many deposit options, such as major credit cards (Visa or MasterCard) and e-wallets.
I made a deposit the very same day using my old Visa card, which I used while I still worked at the shop. I decided to invest a small amount first, and this is a great advantage of Olymp Trade, as you can start trading with as low as KSh 3000! Well, this is an amount even I could afford at the time.
I had hardly traded for an hour with my real cash when my account balance rose to KSh 6400. This was really incredible!!! My heart was about to burst, and I could hardly breathe! The only thing I could think of was: Asante Yesu! I MADE IT!!!
I didn't sleep at all that night, and by the next day I already had KSh 19700 on my account. Yes, that's right, nineteen thousand seven hundred Kenyan shillings!!! With just KSh 3000 I had deposited the day before. I couldn't believe it!!! I would have been stuck to my PC forever and ever, but I still needed to get some sleep, so I just headed to bed, while every step cost me effort.
Once I woke up at around 12PM, I logged into my account first thing. KSh 19700 were still there. Not a dream, then!
For the whole next day, I was completely stuck to my PC, and at midnight my account balance was at KSh 77300!!! I think I will remember this number forever, as this was my first serious success.
Look, KSh 77300-KSh 19700 makes KSh 57600, this is how much I earned in 12 hours. I had not earned such an amount in less than a day before!
That night, before going to bed, I made a withdrawal request to cash out KSh 70,000 on my Visa card. Before I fell asleep I was still wondering whether this all was real...
I woke up in the morning when I got a text on my phone. This was my bank informing me that the KSh 70,000 was credited into my account. KSh 70,000!!! Just arrived on my card!!!
The day before, after making a mobile payment and an Olymp Trade deposit, there had been less than KSh 1000 left. And then – KSh 70,000...It worked!!!
This was a great day, the greatest of all in the last few years.
Next week, I earned more than KSh 600,000 in two months, KSh 2,800,000+ more, in other two months, around KSh 9,000,000, and then I could finally afford a brand new Mercedes Benz at KSh 12,450,000!!! The car of my dreams, the dreams that had been almost forgotten...
Yes, I had to take out a KSh 3,500,000 loan on the car, considering cars are incredibly expensive in Kenya, but with my earnings this was quite manageable. I was able to repay the loan shortly.
Look, here I am with my Mercedes Benz. Right on the day I bought it.

Now, while typing this post, I'm just trying to remember it all over again... How did I make it? And the answer is quite simple: I just believed in myself! First, I found an opportunity, and then I believed I could make money just like that guy on the web page. And that's it!
So, you need to believe you'll be able to make it, too. This is very important, as you won't achieve anything without it. Never ever! If you don't believe in yourself, you'll start thinking all the best moments in your life are already gone. And this will be the case, if you keep thinking that way...
If you are in despair and do not trust anything or anybody, you won't be able to spot your life changing opportunity.
Try to look for such an opportunity everywhere, in every event that happens around you, in every person you meet, in every story you read on the net... Just everywhere! Always try to use these opportunities, they are totally yours! And then you'll finally make it!!!
For some reason, I had always believed I will be be able to buy the car of my dreams. And I did buy it! I didn't save up, just bought it, as I had enough money to pay it. I've got an income source that will never be exhausted; quite the reverse: it brings more and more money every single minute! And yes, I no longer have to report to any boss or work long hours without even a chance to sit down, as it was before.
I make more money in a single day than I used to make in a month. And I feel incredibly free!!!
Was that actually a miracle? Could be. But still, it happened, so it was real. I just read an article, believed in myself and made a decision. This is how I made it!
Oh well, enough memories for now, as I'm already going quite off-topic...

So what do you need to do to start earning money?

  • First, open an account with a broker by clicking here (you’ll need to enter your name, email address, phone number, password, choose the account currency and tick to show your agreement; click Register).
  • Step-by-step you’ll be shown 7 tips describing what’s displayed on your account. Look through all the material by pressing «NEXT STEP» after every description.
Now for the interesting part! A strategy for making a profit!
Now that you have an account with a broker, you need a 100%-profitable strategy. It’s recommended to start with the “up-down” strategy – it’s so simple, anyone can understand it and use it!
  1. First, you need to pick a currency pair: EUR / USD works well here.
  2. Get ready for your first trade: set a time of 1 minute and an amount of $1.
  3. Now start trading. You have to forecast whether the exchange rate will go UP or DOWN within a minute after you opened the trade.
With this strategy, you can make any forecast when you start. It doesn’t matter whether you choose UP or DOWN..
  4. Let’s say you pick UP. Remember that it doesn’t matter what you pick. The strategy works 100% in any case.
  5. If in reality the chart goes up, as you predicted, you’ll get $1.92 back in your account (instead of your initial one dollar!). Now you have to make your next trade, but this time you should choose the opposite value: DOWN (the amount and time don't change; keep them at $1 and 1 minute).
  6. So let’s say the chart goes the other way and your trade isn’t successful. That means you need to raise the next trade to $3 and change the direction of the chart again (i.e. If your last choice was DOWN, now you have to choose UP);
  7. The chart once again doesn’t go the way you wanted, and you lose this trade too. This is nothing to worry about (remember, with this strategy you always make back your losses!). In order to recoup your losses and make a profit now, you have to increase the trade to $8 (don't change the time of the trade). Then choose DOWN (as we chose UP the last time).
  8. Great! That time you chose the right direction and got $15.36 (you made up for your losses and earned more money!). Now go back to trading at $1 and start over again. This time you have to choose UP. That’s why it’s called the “up-down” strategy.
Always change the direction (UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN), regardless of whether your bet is successful or not. Your first trade should always be $1. If you lose, increase the amount to $3. If you lose again, change it to $8. If it happens again, raise it to $18 (personally, I’ve never had to do this despite the fact that I trade every day) As soon as a trade is successful, go back to the original amount of $1 and start over again.

Nigerian Boy, Timothy Oyebola Shot Dead In The US

A 16-year-old boy playing basketball at a Brooklyn park was fatally shot in the head Friday, authorities said.
Timothy Oyebola lived in Jamaica, Queens and attended Brooklyn Ascend HS.

He was likely not the intended target, police said.

“As they were playing, shots were fired into the park. The shots were fired quite a distance away — over 100 feet,” said NYPD Deputy Chief Michael Kemper.

The high-achieving academic teen and his sister came to the US from Lagos in 2013.
“My son was a calm, quiet, obedient child, ” grieving dad David Oyebola told The Post.
“He’s intelligent. He loved sports and basketball. Very ambitious. He’s a boy who had a brighter future. He was constantly going for what he wanted to do in life. He wanted to become a doctor or an engineer.”
